GUJARAT: A citizen hit Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Gopal Italia with a shoe in Jamnagar, a city in the Indian state of Gujarat.

During the Aam Aadmi Party’s “Gujarat Jodo Program”, a scuffle broke out after a shoe fell on a leader, and Aam Aadmi Party workers tortured the accused, who was arrested after police intervened.

As per the details, the accused was identified as Congress worker Chhatrapal Singh Jadeja. The police took him to the hospital in an injured condition.

As per details, Gopal Italia told the media that he did not want to register an FIR against the accused. However, he alleged that the BJP was trying to suppress the Aam Aadmi Party through such incidents, but these tactics could not intimidate the party.

He further said that the BJP has the police, the system, and the entire government. If AAP wants to stop it, then it should serve the people. Throwing slippers and shoes will not benefit the people.
