Azerbaijan Govt simplifies visa process for Pakistani travelers

ISLAMABAD: In a bid to enhance international tourism and facilitate cultural exchange, the government of Azerbaijan has introduced a new online service to streamline the issuance of e-visit visas for citizens of various countries, including Pakistan.

Online Visa Application Process

Azerbaijan’s innovative “ASAN Visa” system simplifies the visa application process for Pakistani travelers. The user-friendly three-step process involves applying online, making a secure payment, and downloading the e-visa, ensuring efficiency and convenience for applicants.

Visa Fee and Processing Time

The normal visa fee stands at $26, while the urgent visa fee is $61. Normal visa processing time is 3 working days, whereas urgent visa processing time is expedited to just 3 hours. Applicants can easily apply for an e-visa by visiting the official website of Azerbaijan immigration services at www.evisa.gov.az.

Azerbaijan, situated between the Caspian Sea and the Caucasus Mountains, offers a captivating array of historical landmarks and modern marvels. The capital city, Baku, boasts a medieval walled Inner City housing the Palace of the Shirvanshahs from the 15th century and the iconic Maiden Tower.
