DUBAI: The UAE has recently unveiled an exceptional visa relief arrangement for visa-related problems, travellers unable to fly out of the nation owing to disturbances and complexities pertaining to the ongoing regional conflict, as well as the Iran-war situation.
In what is being labelled as an extremely considerate step aimed at facilitating and helping people currently stuck in the Emirates, overstay fines for a specific group of travellers whose visas have run out will be waived off, under this humanitarian program.

Travel from June 10 to July 9.

The travelers are to get a reprieve until July 9th to legalize their visa status without paying any penalty.
The United Arab Emirates has initiated this special, one-of-a-kind visa relief to aid international tourists as well as business people who got trapped in the country due to travel limitations, flight delays, and travel bans that arose out of the tense geopolitical situation and circumstances in and surrounding Iran and the other related conflict regions in the Middle East.
All individuals who were on visit visas and expired while on a tourist stint in the UAE would now be provided with an option to make things legitimate as per official rules and regulations, as per the authorities.
This provision has been made on humanitarian grounds. All such passengers would need to obtain necessary arrangements within the set time, said an official.
