TEL AVIV: The United States Embassy in Israel has suffered slight damage from a nearby Iranian missile strike earlier today, according to the United States (US) Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee.

The attack was part of a barrage of missiles launched by Iran on Israeli cities early Monday.

Notably, Iran launched a major attack on Israel early in the morning on Monday, firing about 100 missiles, killing 5 Israelis and injuring more than 100.

Iran’s missile attacks in Haifa set fire to a power plant, resulting in a power outage in central Israel, as per the reports.

Explosions were heard in Tel Aviv and occupied Jerusalem. Israel’s defense system tried to thwart several attacks in the air.

It should be noted that on Sunday night, Iran also launched missile attacks on several locations in Israel, in which several buildings were hit. Four people were injured in the Iranian missile attack in Haifa.

Iranian media claimed a missile attack on Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport, while the Israeli Air Force also claimed to have shot down several drones coming from Iran.
