Shab e Qadr is one of the most sacred nights in the holy month of Ramadan. Muslims believe this blessed night is better than a thousand months. It is the night when the Holy Quran was revealed.

Scholars say that Shab e Qadr is found in the last ten nights of Ramadan. Many Islamic teachings encourage believers to search for this night in the odd nights of the final ten days.

During Shab e Qadr, Muslims increase their prayers, recitation of the Quran, and supplications. Religious scholars advise people to spend these nights in worship to seek forgiveness and mercy from Allah.

According to Islamic traditions, Allah grants freedom from Hell for many believers during Ramadan. Each day and night of the holy month also carries special moments when prayers are accepted.

Another important act during the last ten days of Ramadan is Itikaf. In this practice, Muslims stay in the mosque with the intention of worship and devotion to Allah. This tradition is linked to the practices of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who used to observe Itikaf every year during the last part of Ramadan.

Islamic teachings also highlight that angels descend during Shab e Qadr with the command of Allah. The night remains peaceful until the break of dawn.

Religious scholars say the best way to benefit from Shab e Qadr is to increase prayers, seek forgiveness, and make sincere supplications. A well-known supplication recommended for this night asks Allah for mercy and forgiveness.

As Ramadan approaches its end, Muslims are also reminded to pay Sadaqat al Fitr before the Eid prayer. This charity helps the needy and completes the spiritual spirit of fasting.

Believers hope that through worship in Shab e Qadr, their past sins are forgiven and their prayers are accepted.
