KARACHI: After years of speculation, Suzuki has officially discontinued the iconic Bolan, affectionately known as the “Carry Dabba,” in Pakistan. A farewell message on social media, accompanied by images of the final batch, confirmed the news.

A company official verified the development, stating that production has ceased. The Suzuki Bolan’s outdated design and lack of safety features had long been criticized, yet it remained a popular choice due to limited alternatives.

The Changan Karvaan posed some competition, but Suzuki’s decision to retire the Bolan was likely driven by growing demand for modern vehicles.

Enter the Suzuki Every, showcased at the Lahore Auto Show and set to launch in October 2024.

This transition marks a significant shift for Suzuki in Pakistan, ending Bolan’s decades-long dominance on the country’s roads. The Suzuki Every promises to bring much-needed upgrades in comfort, safety, and technology.

Pakistan’s automotive landscape is evolving, and Suzuki’s move signals a commitment to meeting growing consumer expectations for quality and innovation.
