FBR announces new custom values for Chinese motorcycle parts

ISLAMABAD: The new customs values for the import of motorcycle parts from China to Pakistan, including roller chains, chain kits, sprocket sets, and chain parts, have been announced by the Directorate General of Customs Valuation Karachi.

The announcement was made through Valuation Ruling No. 2034 of 2026, which was issued on Tuesday and is aimed at setting customs values for these items to be able to accurately calculate the duties and taxes.

After revision applications by the parties concerned, the Director General sent the case back for a new valuation based on the materials’ composition.

The Directorate held hearings and dialogues with importers and local manufacturers.
