LAHORE: To buy any vehicle or motorcycle, including a Honda CD 70, citizens are bound to pay a vehicle registration fee to the Excise Department.

After the approval of the budget proposal from the Punjab Assembly by a majority vote, the provincial government announced a new tax measure on vehicle registration. It also increased the excise registration fee for cars and motorcycles including Honda CD 70, Honda CG 125, and Pridor.

The Punjab government has announced the imposition of a heavy traffic challan for those who ride a non-registered motorcycle or any other vehicle. The applicant is required to pay a certain fee to get the motorbike registered with the department.

The Honda CD 70 dominates the streets of Pakistan, serving as the most economical Japanese two-wheeler option for daily commuters due to its reliable engine performance, durable build, and fuel efficiency.

Despite the passage of decades, Atlas Honda has maintained the iconic frame and engine of the CD 70, with minor updates such as new tank designs and side stickers introduced annually.
