LAHORE: MG Motor Pakistan has introduced its new electric hatchback MG4 EV Urban in the local market, which is offered with modern features and improved range.
According to the company, the vehicle has a 43 kWh battery and a front-wheel drive electric motor, which provides 110 kW of power and 250 Newton meters of torque.
The MG4 EV Urban is capable of running up to 316 km under the WLTP standard on a single charge.
The vehicle also supports DC fast charging, through which the battery can be charged from 10 percent to 80 percent in about 28 minutes.
In terms of features, it includes a 12.8-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, heated front seats, wireless charging, and advanced driver assistance systems.
Safety features include adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, blind spot detection, lane keep assist, and a 540-degree HD camera system.
The vehicle was launched at an event in Lahore, attended by dealers, media representatives, and auto industry insiders. The MG4 EV Urban is priced at Rs 6.949 million in Pakistan.
