ISLAMABAD: A 4.8 percent increase was recorded in the national imports of mobile phones during November 2025.
According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) data, the volume of imports during this period reached $156.6 million, which was recorded at $149.4 million in November last year.
Thus, an increase of $7.2 million or 4.8 percent was recorded in the imports of mobile phones in November 2025 compared to November 2024.
On the other hand, according to the data of the State Bank of Pakistan and PBS, $79.40 million was spent on the imports of mobile phones in the first four months of the financial year (July to October), which is 264 percent more than the same period of the previous financial year.
In the first four months of the previous financial year, $21.82 million was spent on the imports of mobile phones.
