Why Toyota cars got cheaper by Rs2.5m, CEO Explains

LAHORE: CEO Indus Motors Ali Asghar Jamali explained the reason for the price reduction of Toyota’s car by Rs 2.5 million.

Speaking in a podcast, he said that due to the reduction in taxes by the government, there was a difference of Rs 1.5 million, while we gave Rs 1 million from our margin.

He said that the price reduction of Toyota’s car by Rs 2.5 million is being discussed everywhere.

Toyota Indus Motors has announced an unprecedented price reduction in the prices of its popular off-road SUV, the Toyota Fortuner, on the occasion of its 35th anniversary in Pakistan.

This is the biggest price reduction by any major car company in the country in recent years.

After a price reduction of Rs 2.5 million, the new price has been set at Rs 12.435 crore.

Similarly, after a price reduction of Rs 2.57 million, the new price of the Fortuner V has become Rs 14.93 million.
