ISLAMABAD: The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has announced the release of the September 2025 installment to eligible women and families throughout Pakistan.

According to the latest update, qualified applicants would get a payout of Rs. 14,500.

The BISP continues to offer regular financial support to low-income households. To increase accessibility and transparency, the government streamlined the eligibility verification process.

Check Eligibility via SMS

Applicants can send their Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) number without dashes to 8171 via SMS to quickly verify their status and payment details.

The payout is being done in stages, and registered recipients are encouraged to complete biometric verification to minimize delays.

Officials have said that only individuals who complete biometric verification could get all three pending payments.

Some candidates were found ineligible owing to difficulties such as erroneous CNIC information, income beyond the program’s threshold, inadequate biometric verification, obsolete registration information, or duplicate applications.

These individuals are urged to check their eligibility again using 8171 or visit the nearest BISP office for help.
