BISP Taleemi Wazaif: Latest on registration, stipend January 2026

ISLAMABAD: The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) provides a quarterly stipend in order to encourage the registered families to send their children to school.

The stipend is offered under the “Benazir Taleemi Wazaif” scheme, whose goal is to bring long-term, sustainable awareness of the importance of primary, secondary & higher secondary education among BISP beneficiary families and increase enrollment of children in schools.

Eligibility Criteria for BISP Taleemi Wazaif Scheme

  • Children of active BISP Kafalat Beneficiaries are eligible for the scheme.
  • The age criteria of child for enrollment in Primary Education are 4-12 years.
  • The age criteria of the child for enrollment in Secondary Education are 8-18 years.
  • The age criteria of the child is 13-22 years for enrollment in Higher Secondary Education.

After verification, the child’s name will be included in the list of Taleemi Wazaif, and a stipend will be issued upon fulfillment of the attendance requirements.

BISP has recently issued guidelines for the registration of children in the education stipend scheme. According to the program, parents receiving BISP support must take their children to the nearest BISP Tehsil Office with the children’s Nadra B-Form for registering them.

The enrollment slip will be issued by the BISP officer, which shall be filled in by the school where the student is enrolled.

Submit the slip back to the BISP office. Stipend will be released after verification.

Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Quarterly Stipend

The quarterly stipend stands at Rs 2,500 for the male students of primary schools, while it is Rs 3,000 for girls.

Similarly, the quarterly stipend is Rs 3,500 for the male students of the secondary classes, while it stands at Rs 4,000 for the girls.

The male students studying at the higher secondary level receive Rs 4,500 quarterly, whereas it will be Rs 5,000 for girls. Moreover, a bonus of Rs 3,000 will be provided to the girls on completing primary education.

This program has a requirement of at least 70% attendance in order to get a stipend.
