ISLAMABAD: The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) provides a quarterly stipend in order to encourage the registered families to send their children to school.
The stipend is offered under the “Benazir Taleemi Wazaif” scheme, whose goal is to bring long-term, sustainable awareness of the importance of primary, secondary & higher secondary education among BISP beneficiary families and increase enrollment of children in schools.
After verification, the child’s name will be included in the list of Taleemi Wazaif, and a stipend will be issued upon fulfillment of the attendance requirements.
BISP has recently issued guidelines for the registration of children in the education stipend scheme. According to the program, parents receiving BISP support must take their children to the nearest BISP Tehsil Office with the children’s Nadra B-Form for registering them.
The enrollment slip will be issued by the BISP officer, which shall be filled in by the school where the student is enrolled.
Submit the slip back to the BISP office. Stipend will be released after verification.
