ISLAMABAD: The upcoming budget of Pakistan is likely to see a 7 percent increase in the salaries of government employees and a 5 percent increase in pensions.

According to reports, no final announcement has been made by the Ministry of Finance in this regard yet. However, this increase is being considered in the budget proposals.

Sources say that the government may also introduce additional facilities to provide further relief to the salaried class. So that the effects of rising inflation can be reduced.

According to experts, if this increase is approved, thousands of government employees and pensioners across the country will benefit. However, the final decision will be taken keeping in mind the government’s financial capacity and overall budget strategy.
