KARACHI: Butchers have released the price list for slaughtering sacrificial animals on coming Eidul Azha 2024.
As per the details, slaughter rates for sacrificial animals have been released in Karachi ahead of Eid-ul-Azha. It varies depending on the region of Peshawar. Sacrifice a large animal like a cow or a bull will cost you Rs 20,000 to 25,000 on the first day.
In the rate list issued by the Meat Merchants Association, it is said that the rate of goat sacrifice on the first day of Eid has been fixed at Rs 10,000, while the rate of cow sacrifice has been fixed at Rs 10,000.

This year the camel slaughter rate is around Rs 40,000. The price of sacrificial animals on the second and third days of Eid will be almost half of the high demand on the first day.
It should be noted that as soon as the Eidul Azha comes, the charges of the butchers also go high.
While despite the drop in inflation, prices of sacrificial animals have seen an increase in Eid-ul-Azha 2024.
