ISLAMABAD: The electricity in Pakistan is likely to be cheaper by Rs 1.93 per unit in the quarterly adjustment, according to the sources.

The sources stated that the electricity is likely to be expensive by Rs 1.73 per unit in the April monthly adjustment.

The net relief may be 20 paise per unit after the quarterly reduction in June, combined with the increase in the monthly adjustment.

The final decision will be taken after the hearings on quarterly and monthly adjustments by NEPRA. The monthly adjustment of April 2026 will increase the price of electricity by Rs 1.73, according to the Power Division.
