Electricity price likely to increase by Rs 1.20 per unit

ISLAMABAD: The CPPA has submitted an application for an increase in the monthly fuel price adjustment for June, in which it has been requested to increase electricity by Rs 1.20 per unit in the monthly adjustment.

National Electric Power Regulatory Authorit (NEPRA) has decided to hear the application on July 29.

According to government policy guidelines, the monthly adjustment will be applicable to electricity consumers across the country as well as nearby areas.
