ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Friday decided to completely shut down utility stores countrywide, sending a shock among the public who get subsides grocery items from stores.
According to the details, the government gave two weeks to utility stores to shut down their operations across the country and settle financial transactions with companies.
Utility stores’ administration said that the decision raised serious concerns among 6,000 permanent employees as well as 5,000 daily wagers.
