ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Food Authority on Sunday raided and sealed a bakery for using rotten eggs in its sweets.
As per the details, a team specializing in food safety, led by the Deputy Director of Islamabad Food Authority, inspected a bakery unit at Lahtrar Centre. Upon investigation, it was found that the bakery was using spoiled eggs to make sweets.
In response to this violation, the food safety team immediately destroyed 2,000 contaminated hatchery eggs found on the bakery’s premises.
