Fuel price hike pushes transport fares up

LAHORE: Transport fares have been increased after the increase in the prices of petroleum products.

The fare of Executive from Lahore to Rawalpindi has increased from 2250 to 2480 rupees, while the fare of Executive Plus from Lahore to Rawalpindi has increased from 3350 to 3680 rupees.

The fare from Lahore to Karachi has increased by 3000 rupees to 13200 rupees, while the fare from Lahore to Murree has increased from 3100 to 3720 rupees.

Similarly, the fare from Lahore to Sadiqabad has increased by 700 rupees to 4200 rupees, while the new fare from Lahore to Multan has increased from 3150 to 3750 rupees.

The new fare from Lahore to Sialkot has increased from 1800 to 2150 rupees, while the fare from Lahore to Pakpattan has increased by 350 rupees to 1750 rupees. The new fare from Lahore to Sargodha has increased by Rs 350 to Rs 2,000.
