Fuel prices set for another cut in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: There is a possibility of a reduction in the prices of petroleum products in Pakistan.

Due to the reduction in the prices of petroleum products in the global market, prices may also decrease in Pakistan from January 16.

On January 1, there was a major reduction in the prices of petroleum products, petrol was cheaper by Rs 10.28 while diesel was cheaper by Rs 8.57 per liter.

According to sources, the prices of petroleum products are likely to be reduced by Rs 4.59 per liter from January 16, petrol can be cheaper by Rs 4.59 per liter, diesel by Rs 2.70 per liter.

Kerosene is expected to be cheaper by Rs 1.82 per liter and light diesel by Rs 2.8 per liter. The final announcement of the change in the new prices will be made after the approval of the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
