KARACHI: The cost of gold fell by Rs. 1,800 per tola on Friday, according to a report by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, and it was switched hands at Rs. 350,900 against Rs. 352,700 effective on the last trading day.
10–grams of 24 karat gold also fell by Rs.1,543 to Rs.300,840, down from Rs.302,383, while 10–grams of 22 Karat dropped by Rs.1,414 to Rs.275,780, down from Rs.277,194. Rates per tola and ten-gram silver were unchanged at Rs. 3,417 and Rs. 2,929, respectively.
The price of gold in the international market also fell by $18 to $3,325, down from $3,343, while silver was unchanged at $32.35, the Association added.
