Gold prices hit highest record in Pakistan; Check new rates

KARACHI:  Gold prices continued to rise in line with the international market trend. In the local market, the price of gold per tola reached Rs257,300, marking an increase of Rs2,400.

The 10-gram gold was priced at Rs220,593, reflecting a rise of Rs2,057, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The international gold price rose to $2,458 per ounce (with a premium of $20), marking a gain of $26 for the day, according to the APGJSA.

Meanwhile, silver prices stayed steady at Rs2,900 per tola.
