KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend, reaching a new all-time high on Thursday. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold surged by Rs. 2,000 per tola, reaching Rs. 350,000 in the domestic market.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs. 1,715, settling at Rs. 300,068. This latest hike comes just a day after gold prices had jumped by Rs. 8,600 in a single day, reaching a previous record high of Rs. 348,000 per tola on Wednesday.
The international gold market also saw significant gains, with gold prices rising by $19 to $3,329 per ounce, inclusive of a $20 premium.
This upward trend in gold prices reflects the ongoing dynamics in the global market, influencing prices in Pakistan. As a result, investors and consumers alike are closely monitoring the situation, anticipating further fluctuations in the precious metal’s value.
