KARACHI: In a recent development, Pakistan’s witnessed slight increase in gold price on Thursday, in line with worldwide market trends.
As per the data provided by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs500 in the local market, ultimately reaching Rs275,700.
Likewise, 10 grams of 24-karat gold now cost Rs236,368 after rising by Rs428, the previous price.
Earlier on Thursday, the price of gold increased by $5 on the global market as well, reaching $2,645 per ounce with a $20 premium.
However, the price of silver in the local market was steady at Rs3,400 per tola.
