KARACHI: On Friday, the price of gold in Pakistan recorded its second rise this week.
The price of 24 carat gold increased by Rs. 2,100 per tola to Rs. 277,300, while the price of 10 kilos increased by Rs. 1,800 to Rs. 237,740, according to data released by the All-Sindh Sarafa Jewelers Association (ASSJA).
On Monday and Tuesday, the precious metal’s price reported losses of Rs. 4,100 and Rs. 4,300 per tola, respectively. The price increased by Rs. 1,600 per tola on Wednesday and then decreased by Rs. 700 per tola on Thursday.
According to the Association, the price of gold on the global market rose by $21 from $2,640 to $2,661.
