KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend, reaching another record high on Saturday, August 24.
According to the Sarafa Association, the price of gold per tola has climbed to Rs263,700, marking an increase of Rs1,700. The price for 10 grams rose by Rs1,457, reaching Rs226,080.

In the international market, gold also saw significant gains, with the price per ounce rising by $20 to $2,512. Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan remained stable at Rs2,950 per tola and Rs2,529.14 per 10 grams.
Earlier on Friday, the price per tola of gold had already surged by Rs200, reaching Rs262,000, the highest rate ever recorded in Pakistan. The price for 10 grams had increased by Rs172 to Rs224,623.
