KARACHI: In a recent development, the gold prices in Pakistan have surged to a new high amid international fluctuations.
The value of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs4,300 on Thursday to hit Rs358,400, as per the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. Likewise, the value of 10 grams of gold registered an increase of Rs3,687 to reach Rs307,270.
The world gold market also saw a huge change, with the value of gold per ounce increasing by $43 to become $3,400.
Silver prices in Pakistan also increased, with the value of a tola of 24-karat silver increasing by Rs159 to become Rs3,745, and the value of 10 grams of silver increasing to become Rs3,210.
