KARACHI: Pakistan’s gold market witnessed a significant surge on Wednesday, with prices reaching an unprecedented high. According to the Karachi Sarafa Association, the value of 24-carat gold rose by Rs. 2,200 per tola to Rs. 277,200, while 10 grams saw an increase of Rs. 1,886 to Rs. 237,654.
This milestone surpasses the previous record set on September 26, when gold prices briefly touched Rs. 277,000 per tola before fluctuating between Rs. 270,000 and Rs. 276,000.
