KARACHI: The gold rates decreased in the global and local markets on Friday for the second consecutive day.
As a result of the price of gold per ounce in the international bullion market falling by $10 to $3,740, the trend of decreasing gold and silver prices continued in the local bullion markets on Friday.
At the local level, the price of 24-carat gold per tola decreased by Rs1,000 to Rs395,800, while the price of gold per 10 grams also decreased by Rs858 to Rs339,334.
Similarly, the price of silver per tola decreased by Rs64 to Rs4,599, and the price of silver per 10 grams also decreased by Rs55 to Rs3,942.
