KARACHI: Gold prices recorded a sharp increase in global and local markets, reaching an all-time high.
The price of gold per ounce in the international bullion market rose by $61 on Monday, after which the new global price reached a record high of $3,613 per ounce.
Meanwhile, the price of 24-carat gold per tola in local bullion markets also increased by Rs6,100 today, as a result of which the new price reached a record high of Rs384,000.
Similarly, gold per 10 grams has also increased by Rs5,230 to touch a record high of Rs329,219.
