ISLAMABAD: After reaching an all-time high of around Rs 300,000 per tola, gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a decline on Thursday, reflecting global market trends.
According to data shared by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), in the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs 900, reaching an all-time high of Rs 298,700.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs 772 to Rs 256,087.
In the international market, gold prices also saw a decline of $9 on Thursday, reaching $2,859 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
The price of 24-karat silver in the local market also fell by Rs 23 to Rs 3,327 per tola.
