KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a slight decline on Saturday, reflecting a decline in international market rates.

The price of 24,000 tola gold fell by Rs 1,046 to Rs 299,000, while the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs 897 to Rs 256,344.

Globally, gold prices also saw a decline, with an ounce falling to $ 2,861. A decrease of $ 8 compared to Friday. The decline came after a historic rise in gold prices, which saw a record-breaking increase on Friday.

Amid fears of a global trade war, demand for gold increased sharply, prompting investors to grab the yellow metal.

This fluctuation in gold prices indicates a trend of continuous volatility, with prices in Pakistan increasing significantly in January and early February. As global economic conditions remain uncertain, experts predict that gold prices may continue to fluctuate in the coming weeks.
