Gold prices decrease Rs15,00 per tola in Pakistan

KARACHI: The price of gold in Pakistan’s local market on Monday witnessed a significant decline in the past week.

According to data shared by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs 1,500 to close at Rs 301,500.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs 1,286 and the new price was fixed at Rs 258,487.

An increase in the rates of bullion was also recorded in the international market, where the rate per ounce increased by $ 12 to reach $ 2,869.

On Saturday, the price of gold per tola closed at Rs 300,000 after a decrease of Rs 500. Similarly, the price of 10 grams in the local market decreased by Rs 439 to reach Rs 257,201.

Meanwhile, there was no change in the price of silver in the local market where the price per tola was sold at Rs 3,240 while the price of 10 grams was recorded at Rs 2,777.
