ISLAMABAD: Pakistan witnessed a sharp decline in gold prices on Saturday, reflecting global trends in the precious metals market.
The price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs 5,500 to Rs 320,000 per tola. Dealers reported a similar increase in the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold, which is now trading at Rs 274,348, down by Rs 4,714. Moreover, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also fell by Rs 251,494.
The price of 24-karat silver per tola is Rs 3,120 after a decline of Rs 460. Internationally, gold prices also fell by $ 51 to $ 3,035 per ounce.
