ISLAMABAD: Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a sharp increase on Wednesday, reflecting global market trends.
According to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), in the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs 2,900 to Rs 2,80,800.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs 2,487, taking it to Rs 240,741.
In the international market, gold prices also saw an increase of $29 on Wednesday, reaching $2,690 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
The price of silver per tola in the local market remained stable at Rs 3,350.
