ISLAMABAD: The price of gold and silver per tola has increased in the global and local markets.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of 24-carat gold per tola has increased by Rs 10,000. After the increase, gold is being sold for Rs 550,562 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold has also seen a significant increase. 10 grams of gold has become more expensive by Rs 8,574 to reach Rs 472,018.
In addition, the price of silver per tola has increased by Rs 388 to Rs 9,862.
On the other hand, gold has become more expensive by $ 100 per ounce in the global market, reaching the level of $ 5,278 per ounce in the global market.
