Gold prices surge again today, price reaches historic high

KARACHI: Gold and silver prices in the global and local markets have increased significantly for the second day, after which the prices have once again reached a new high in history.

According to information received from the bullion market, the price of gold per ounce in the international bullion market has increased by another $212 to a new high of $5,504.

Its effects were also felt in the local market, after which the price of gold per tola at the national level increased by Rs21,200 for the second day and the new price of one tola of gold reached Rs572,862, the highest level in the country’s history.

Similarly, the price of ten grams of gold increased by Rs18,175 to Rs491,136.

Meanwhile, along with gold, the price of silver continues to increase and set new records. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs 264 to Rs 12,175 and the price per ten grams increased by Rs 227 to a new high of Rs 10,438.
