Silver prices reach record high

ISLAMABAD: Economic uncertainty in the global market has also affected the price of silver, with silver prices crossing the $75 per ounce mark for the first time.

Yesterday, the price of silver per tola in Pakistan increased by Rs 240 to reach a record high of Rs 7,945.

The total price of silver has increased by 158 percent during the current year, with the price of silver almost doubling since the end of June.

State Bank of Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves at a new high

Experts have attributed the increase in the price of silver to investments in AI data centers, the production of electric vehicles and investment to protect against inflation.
