KARACHI: A sharp surge in gold prices has pushed the precious metal to a record high.
According to the All Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold and silver in Pakistan has reached a new high in history.
Today, the price of 24-carat gold per tola in Pakistan has increased by Rs 4,100 to Rs 388,100.
In addition, the price of ten grams of gold increased by Rs 3,514 to Rs 3,32,733, while the price of silver per tola increased by Rs 20 to reach a record level of Rs 4,358.
On the other hand, in the international gold market, gold per ounce has become more expensive by $ 41 to $ 3,654.
