KARACHI: K-Electric has issued a schedule for long-term power outages in various areas of the city on Monday, July 27, 2026, due to maintenance shutdowns.
According to the spokesperson, technical and repair work will be carried out on various feeders in phases, due to which power supply will remain suspended in several areas for about 9 to 10 hours.
According to K-Electric, the power outage may start from morning hours and continue till evening. The affected areas include 35th Street Kh-e-Khalid, 3H RMU, 51-C Area, 7-A RMU, AB Gases, Ali Daulat, Allah Noor, Aminabad, Cafe Bhangoria, Coastal Street, Defense Phase 7, DHA Golf Club, DHA Phase 8, Embassy Villa, Globe Center, Gohar Green City, Gulistan CHS-1, Gulshan-e-Faisal, Iqbal Plaza, Jamali Bridge, Juma Baloch, Kamal Park, Kazimabad, Khorramabad, KN City, Korangi Zoo and Landhi Bay, among many other areas.
Apart from this, power supply will also be affected in areas around Malir Colony C, Masjid-e-Quba, Meteorological Department, Mulla Isa Goth, Nagori Hospital, Navy Housing Scheme, NED RMU, PAF Malir Cantt, Pink Park, Prime Pack, Saifi Foundation, Shaheen Grid, Shah Waliullah, Silver Town, Sultan Plaza, Tikkur Mahal, Today’s Restaurant, Truck Stand and Vocational Institute.
K-Electric has advised customers to take necessary precautions regarding the use of electrical appliances during the repair work and arrange their daily routines accordingly.
