MIRPUR: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz delivered modern electric buses to Mirpur after Muzaffarabad.
Another promise made by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has been fulfilled. After Muzaffarabad, modern electric buses have also reached Mirpur.
An atmosphere of celebration was seen in Mirpur upon the arrival of electric buses. Citizens welcomed the buses with the beat of drums, while a large number of elders, youth and children were present on the occasion and expressed happiness.
The electric buses were taken through different areas of the city in a procession, creating an atmosphere of celebration.
According to the authorities, the purpose of providing modern and eco-friendly electric buses is to provide quality, safe and comfortable travel facilities to the citizens, while this measure will also help in the promotion of eco-friendly transport.
It should be noted that earlier, 10 electric buses have also been provided in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Kashmir.
