KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend, following another strong gain in the international market, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs4,600, reaching Rs433,836, while the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs3,944 to Rs371,944.
In the international market, gold prices climbed by $46 to $4,114 per ounce (including a $20 premium). Meanwhile, silver prices also edged higher, with the price of one tola of silver increasing by Rs7 to Rs6,403.
