MURREE: A travel advisory has been issued by the Murree Police to tourists due to the large influx of tourists traveling to the hill station amid summer holidays.

On the other hand, the district administration and traffic police are on high alert to control the traffic situation and facilitate tourists in the city. Authorities have deputed extra police force on major roads and crossings to maintain smooth traffic flow.

According to District Police Officer (DPO) Murree Dr Raza Tanveer, rainfall and thick fog in the region have decreased visibility at various places, resulting in the slow movement of traffic on some routes.

However, the officials have made it clear that all major routes to Murree are accessible now except RMK Road, as work on road carpeting is going on there. Despite the work, tourists can visit Murree by taking precautionary measures.
