Massive Increase in prices of Gold in Pakistan

KARACHI: The price per tola of 24 carat gold increased by Rs 1100 on the domestic market on Monday. Ten kilos of 24 carat gold now cost Rs214,300 on the local market, up Rs1100, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

Additionally, the cost of 10 grams and each tola of silver increased by Rs943 to Rs183,728. On the global market, gold now costs $2042, a rise of $8.

Palladium increased 1.2% to $960.76 per ounce, spot platinum dipped 0.2% to $904.27, and silver decreased 0.2% to $23.35 per ounce.
