ISLAMABAD: Oil prices have risen further in the global market. Oil prices have risen another one percent due to recent tensions between Iran and the United States.

British Brent crude oil prices have risen by 83 cents, or 0.9 percent, to $92.29 per barrel.

US West Texas Intermediate crude oil prices have risen by 68 cents, or 0.8 percent, to $88.97 per barrel.

British oil prices closed at a seven-week low yesterday, while US oil prices have fallen to their lowest level since late May.

The United States launched an air strike on Iran after Iran shot down a US helicopter, after which Iran retaliated by targeting US targets.
