Pakistan secured $10.1 billion in foreign loans last fiscal year

ISLAMABAD: Last year, $10,100 million in foreign loans were taken by Pakistani government.

The details of all the international loans obtained by the government during the last fiscal year from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025 have been presented in the Parliament.

The details presented in the Parliament by the Ministry of Economic Affairs have stated that a total of 29 international loans were obtained from multilateral and bilateral development partners and commercial banks during the last fiscal year.

The total amount of foreign loans approved in the previous fiscal year was $10,100.85 million, while loans worth $6,682.4 million were disbursed in the previous fiscal year.

The government has also provided the Parliament with details of the planned use of these loans.
