ISLAMABAD: In recent developments, the government has decided to maintain the price of petrol at Rs 252.10 per litre, despite earlier expectations of a slight increase.
The government has taken relief measures to reduce the price of high-speed diesel by Rs 3.5/litre. A notification released by the Ministry of Finance said that the new price would be Rs 255.38/litre.
In contrast, the price of petrol will stand at Rs 252.10/litre. This decision will benefit all consumers, especially the transport sector relying heavily on diesel.
This was a good decision by the government to initiate a change in high-speed diesel prices with the hope of reducing the monetary burden that the consumers were facing.
