Prices of chicken in Lahore increase by Rs 18

ISLAMABAD: The price of chicken in Lahore has seen a sharp increase of Rs 18 and now the broiler chicken meat now commands a price tag of Rs 463 per kilogram.

The per kilogram price of broiler chicken meat in Lahore increased by Rs18 on Wednesday, reaching Rs463 per kilogram.

The price of live broiler is available at Rs 307 in wholesale circles and slightly elevated at Rs 319 in the retail market.

The farm eggs maintain their composure on the economic stage, holding steady at Rs 359 per dozen.

Meanwhile the district administration of Lahore has unfurled the official rates for an assortment of vegetables and fruits, unveiling a comprehensive guide for consumers navigating the bazaar.

In this orchestrated symphony of prices, unpeeled new potatoes are poised at Rs 60, while the first-class onions have ascended to Rs 160 per kilogram. Tomatoes are priced at Rs 105 per kilogram.

Thailand’s ginger is priced at Rs 385, desi garlic Rs 410, and the farmy cucumber at Rs 55 per kilogram.

According to the official price capsicum is priced at Rs 160, China lemon making its mark at Rs 50 per kilogram, and peas at Rs 125. Ghia pumpkin, Carrot China, Karela, and Spinach Farmi join the ensemble, each with its own economic cadence at Rs 84, Rs 130, Rs 92, and Rs 44 per kilogram, respectively.

Apples (gacha first) priced at Rs 200, guava at Rs 140, and pomegranate seeds at Rs 360 per kilogram. The exotic allure of Irani dates and sundarkhani grapes is quantified at Rs 485 and Rs 365 per kilogram, respectively.

The official rate list concludes with a dozen bananas at Rs 135, papaya at Rs 200 per kilogram, and the trio of Fruiter, Musmi, and the timeless banana, each priced at Rs 135, Rs 110, and Rs 135 per dozen respectively.
